Congregations

Congregations of the Ceylon Evangelical Lutheran Church are groups of people who meet regularly together to worship God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and receive from God the gifts of his Word and Holy Spirit in services. It is the goal of the CELC Ministerium to provide Holy Communion to the confirmed Lutheran members at each congregation at least once per month, according to the availability of Pastors. At ‘mission stations’ where there is no permanent church building, the service location and time may change. Please check with the supervising Pastor or Evangelist for details for Sunday morning and mid-week services.
